Custom Music

In the fourth demo, or in the final game, will it be possible to replace one of the tracks with something else? Or at the very least mute the music but not the sound effects?

RE: Custom Music

In demo 3 all the music files are externalized so all that is already possible. Just swap the music file with the one you want. Just remember to back up the old files.

That's not a good idea, as some events in game deppends on tracks length, so it can cause bugs.

There won't be option for muting the music. You can mute it with sound effects in Windows sound settings.

RE: Custom Music

however, would I risk causing a bug if I were to go into the game files and move all the music to another folder?

RE: Custom Music

A slightly complicated way to do this would be to get a music editor and edit the sound files to be mute, retaining their length. Hypothetically, this should work. You can use Audacity or something like it.

If copying - nope, if cutting - yes. Guess for 4th demo I gonna encrypt the music, so no one would mess with the files.
