			<title><![CDATA[Chrono X Fourth Anniversary!]]></title>
			<link>http://www.mmbnchronox.com/forum/thread-809.html</link>

			<description><![CDATA[Hello! This thread will contain the gifts that we release over the next couple of days.<br />
<br />
Today marks the Chrono X project's glorious fourth anniversary. Yes, four years ago today, our project began as a fledgling, and now, four years later, it has made more progress than we could have hoped for. For those with us since the very first public PC demo (it's no longer available for download), it's quite a thing to behold when comparing it to demo 4.0.1.<br />
<br />
And, of course, what would an anniversary be without celebration? Therefore, we are declaring the next seven days "Chrono X Anniversary week," and we'll be releasing goodies all week! We're starting with...the high quality Demo 4 OST, available now for download for the first time! Get it <a href="http://www.mmbnchronox.com/MMBNCX_Demo4_HQ_OST.zip" target="_blank">here</a>!<br />
<br />
But that's not all! There are a few goodies in that zip, in the form of bonus tracks! And not just DarkMegaman's theme--there's also two additional bonuses. First, an unreleased track. What do you think it was meant to be used for? Second, there is an old, unused version of a popular track, back from when Chrono X was young and still trying to discover its true identity. We think it's still a good track, even though it didn't end up being used, so we included it just for you.<br />
<br />
As we take a look back at these four years, many things have changed: the team roster, the graphics, the story, the ideas, but the goal is still the same! We're here to develop a full-fledged Battle Network game! Keep an eye out in the next few days for more updates--and more goodies!]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[Another Online Mode Idea]]></title>
			<link>http://www.mmbnchronox.com/forum/thread-806.html</link>

			<description><![CDATA[This is a pretty simple concept and a different way to play PVP with other online users. The idea is having 2 players go against each other in order to get the most points against battling a boss from the game. Basically, the field will look like this:<br />
E= Empty<br />
M= Megaman<br />
B= Boss<br />
<span style="color: #FF0000;">[E][E]</span>//<span style="color: #FFD700;">[E][E]</span>//<span style="color: #FF0000;">[E][E]</span><br />
<span style="color: #FF0000;">[M][E]</span>//<span style="color: #FFD700;">[B][E]</span>//<span style="color: #FF0000;">[E][M]</span><br />
<span style="color: #FF0000;">[E][E]</span>//<span style="color: #FFD700;">[E][E]</span>//<span style="color: #FF0000;">[E][E]</span><br />
<br />
Each player will use chips gotten from in-game or a level setup if both players choose this option to get points for damaging the boss. The point values vary depending on the chip or buster damage done. Also, if a player hits the other opponent, the opponent loses points based on the damage taken.<br />
<br />
As for the boss strength, either it can be a single boss with a higher than average HP and attack or two bosses with the same HP and attack as there latest forms fought in the story. Later bosses can be unlocked when the required scenario is complete.<br />
<br />
Victory happens when either a player is defeated or the boss is defeated. If the player is defeated, there is a chance they can win depending on the amount of damage dealt since only a penalty amount of points are lost.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[Hi everyone, I'd like to ask for advices, so I hope you could help.<br />
I played some Classic Mega Mans (2,3 and 10) and I'm planning to buy another one from the eShop on my 3DS console. Right now on the eShop there are the first four Mega Mans, but I heard that in Japan came out also Mega Man V and Mega Man VI, so they'll get here very soon. I loved Mega Man II and III both, by maybe I appreciated the third a bit more than the second.<br />
Now the real question. I'd really like to get Mega Man IV or Mega Man V. I heard they were good ones, but not like II and III. Which one is better than the other? Why? Which one should I buy? <br />
Thank you for your answers.<br />
<br />
<br />
Ps. I'm sorry if my english is bad.]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[Ideas for Support Chips]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[Hi guys, hope everything's going well! Just wanted to suggest some fun chip ideas I just thought up. These are all support chips, and hopefully I added some original contributions. Let me know if any of these sound interesting <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" style="vertical-align: middle;" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><br />
<br />
Name: <span style="color: #FF0000;">RosetaStn</span><br />
Element: Normal<br />
Code: *<br />
Atk : N/A<br />
Description: Makes all chips * next turn!<br />
Mechanism: Acts like a fullcust. After you use it, all of your available battlechips on the custom screen have the * code just for that turn.<br />
<br />
Name: <span style="color: #FF0000;">CstmCurse</span><br />
Element: Normal<br />
Code: *<br />
Atk : 5<br />
Description: Attack with Custom Window!<br />
Mechanism: Acts like a Fullcust. For the rest of the battle, every time you pull up the custom window to select new chips (including as a result of this chip's initial activation), all enemies automatically take 5 damage. Additionally, enemies take 5 damage for every battlechip you select or use for the rest of the battle. <br />
<br />
(Example: Megaman uses CstmCurse. Custom screen gets pulled up because of CstmCurse's effect, all enemies take 5 damage immediately. Megaman selects 5 cannons and presses "ok." Before next turn starts, all enemies immediately take 5 x 5 chips = 25 damage. Megaman uses first cannon, all enemies take 5 damage as cannon is activated. 2nd cannon, all enemies take 5 damage. 3rd cannon, all enemies take 5 damage. 4th cannon, all take 5 damage. 5th cannon, all take 5 damage. Megaman pulls up custom screen again, all enemies again take 5 damage. Etc.)<br />
<br />
Name: <span style="color: #FF0000;">ActReplay</span><br />
Element: Normal<br />
Code: *<br />
Atk : N/A<br />
Description: Redo all attacks for this turn!<br />
Mechanism: Dims the screen and stops time. Then, Megaman reuses all of the chips/buster/charge shots he had used earlier this turn in the same exact order (does not include navichips or support chips). BeastOut style "targeting" is provided, meaning Megaman automatically closes in to attack enemies accurately.<br />
<br />
Name: <span style="color: #00BFFF;">FolderBak</span> (Yes, I nerfed it. It's now a megachip)<br />
Element: Normal<br />
Code: *<br />
Atk : N/A<br />
Description: Restores 8 battlechips used<br />
Mechanism: Restores 8 battlechips, and acts like a fullcust. Yeah, it's like FolderBak in mmbn3, but it only restores up to 8 battlechips.<br />
<br />
Name: <span style="color: #00BFFF;">LeafShld</span><br />
Element: Normal<br />
Code: Q<br />
Atk : N/A<br />
Description: Heals you if you get hit<br />
Mechanism: The thing that Plantman has. If you get hit, and you have leafshield active, instead of taking the damage you would have taken, you get healed by that amount.<br />
<br />
Name: AntiEfct<br />
Element: Normal<br />
Code: A<br />
Atk : 200<br />
Description: Retaliates for inflicting status<br />
Mechanism: After using this chip, question marks appear on the screen, like with any other "Anti" chip. When megaman gets paralyzed, frozen, blinded, confused, or gets infected with a bug by an enemy's attack, this chip activates, dims the screen, and stops time. First, it transfers megaman's status effect to all enemies. If megaman is frozen or paralyzed, he reverts to normal status and can immediately move. Second, all enemies take 200 damage. <br />
<br />
Name: TimCapsule<br />
Element: Normal<br />
Code: *<br />
Atk : N/A<br />
Description: Add an effect: Dim the Screen<br />
Mechanism: Attach to a chip just like WhiCapsule. Except it dims the screen and stops time before Megaman uses the previously selected chip. Improves accuracy, especially when Megaman is using chips that take a long time to arm.<br />
<br />
Name: BlkCapsule<br />
Element: Normal<br />
Code: *<br />
Atk : N/A<br />
Description: Add an effect: Blind<br />
Mechanism: Attach to a chip just like WhiCapsule. Except it blinds the enemy on hit.<br />
<br />
Name: RedCapsule<br />
Element: Normal<br />
Code: *<br />
Atk : N/A<br />
Description: Add an effect: Confuse<br />
Mechanism: Attach to a chip just like WhiCapsule. Except it confuses the enemy on hit.<br />
<br />
Name: PwnCapsule (Program advance, WhiCapsule*+BlkCapsule*+RedCapsule*)<br />
Element: Normal<br />
Atk : N/A<br />
Description: Paralyze, Dmg 2x, Restore HP<br />
Mechanism: Attach to a chip just like WhiCapsule. On hit, the enemy gets paralyzed, takes 2x damage from the hit, and you recover the same amount of HP the enemy just lost.]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[Challenge/Puzzle Mode!]]></title>
			<link>http://www.mmbnchronox.com/forum/thread-799.html</link>
			<pubDate>Sat, 20 Apr 2013 18:48:05 -0500</pubDate>
			<guid isPermaLink="false">http://www.mmbnchronox.com/forum/thread-799.html</guid>
			<description><![CDATA[Challenge/Puzzle Mode!<br />
<br />
It's simple...<br />
<br />
You select a challenge from perhaps a list of them.<br />
You get sucked into a battle... a virus battle, navi battle, or a combination of both.<br />
You are given a specific set of chips... can be ANY chips. Maybe even pre-made program advances combined with program advance material chips, chips you don't have, etc. However, you are only given a limited amount.<br />
<br />
You are given a time to delete the enemy. Maybe an actual timer or a turn based timer. For example: 10 seconds OR 1 turn. Can be any combination... maybe like, 5 Turns AND 10 minutes.<br />
<br />
Prizes could be given for completion AND they may also be based on Busting Rank. Prizes could be given once, regardless of how many times you complete it OR how many times you get the same rank... OR they can also be repeatable. So its possible to receive 2 prizes on the first try. For example: Completion Prize is a Rock Cube chip. Rank 8 Prize is a Roll Chip. If you get rank 8 after your first completion, you get both. If there's a challenge that gives you the completion prize only once while letting you complete it as many times as you want for the same rank... you could be given a Roll Chip for EVERY rank 8 you complete it with... but as stated, Rock Cube is only given once, regardless of the amount of completions. Can also be the opposite.<br />
<br />
Riddle Challenges... the unorthodox way of netbattling! Deleting the enemy may not be the answer.<br />
<br />
Example: The Challenge Description states "Patience" and thats it. You will have an enemy that does nothing/counterattacks instantly and cannot be destroyed. (The challenger does not know this.) The way to complete this is... don't do ANYTHING for 1 minute. No movement, no chip selection screen when the custom bar is full, no megabuster, no movement whatsoever. Depending on the programming, after the minute is done, bring up the "Battle Complete Screen" automatically... OR make the enemy a 1 hit kill when its time. If the player moves, the hidden timer will reset OR a fail screen will come up. If thats too hard to program, then make the enemy instant delete the challenger on cue of any movement until the time is up.<br />
<br />
Difficulty levels could be a possibility to help the challenger determine the rarity of the prizes and how difficult the challenge is.<br />
<br />
Back to prizes: It may also be possible to have NO prizes if the busting level is under a certain rank. Varies on the challenge.<br />
<br />
=====<br />
<br />
Story: A peculiar Navi with the ability to manipulate the net as he so wishes becomes bored. Luckily this Navi is neither good nor evil, so hes not a threat to anyone... at least for now. He decides to create a little world inside the net in a specific place. Or perhaps theres several places for a different set of challenges for each. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Challenge/Puzzle Mode!<br />
<br />
It's simple...<br />
<br />
<br />
You are given a time to delete the enemy. Maybe an actual timer or a turn based timer. For example: 10 seconds OR 1 turn. Can be any combination... maybe like, 5 Turns AND 10 minutes.<br />
<br />
<br />
Riddle Challenges... the unorthodox way of netbattling! Deleting the enemy may not be the answer.<br />
<br />
<br />
Difficulty levels could be a possibility to help the challenger determine the rarity of the prizes and how difficult the challenge is.<br />
<br />
Back to prizes: It may also be possible to have NO prizes if the busting level is under a certain rank. Varies on the challenge.<br />
<br />
=====<br />
<br />
He then sends a mail, phone call, broadcast, any means necessary to get challengers to come and relieve him of his boredom.<br />
<br />
This could possibly grow into something bigger if you guys decide to expand on this:<br />
<br />

			<description><![CDATA[I recently found a site called Ace Attorney Online where it had several Megaman Legends cases in Phoenix Wright fashion. If you haven't play Phoenix Wright, basically you use evidence you find in order to unravel contradictions and lies witnesses say. Since this is an online tool and from some experiences with some of the custom cases, the exploration is cut out leaving the trials for the most part.<br />
<br />
The reason why I'm bringing this up is I want to make a case based on the forums and its members. I would like to know everyone's thoughts on this and some ideas. Here is the link to the site so you can look into it: <a href="http://aceattorney.sparklin.org/." target="_blank">http://aceattorney.sparklin.org/.</a> In order to play some cases, go to the site, hit the Play button, and choose which one you want to play. I feel this could be a fun little activity and holds potential for a contest possibly.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Alastor opens his eyes and looks at the clock. 9:29am it showed. A noise came from his silver PET. "Good morning, Alastor," says Alastor's navi, Eternalman. "What are we going to do today?" Alastor pull the covers off, jumps out of bed, and puts on his blue polo shirt and jeans. Alastor says with a depressed tone, "I think a walk to the store would do me good." It was the anniversary where Alastor's grandfather was murdered.<br />
<br />
He walks into the hallway, which leads to the living room. The walls are plain, white, and dry-walled with a a little fern by a 32-inch flat screen television on a television stand against the corner to the wall closest to the door which was across from the kitchen. There are two sets of black, leather love seats both pointing towards the television with an oak framed coffee table with glass being most of the surface and is about half the size of each seat between the seats and television. The other wall contains a picture of Alastor's family when he was a kid.<br />
<br />
The kitchen is to the right with a wall with a little area of wall gone to see in. The kitchen is barely big enough to have two people. From the opening in the wall, the sink is directly in the middle of the counter and underneath the window that looks into the hole in the wall and to another building across the street below. On the right of the sink is the small, white, fridge, which is the same height as the granite counter-tops. Four Oak cabinets covers the walls above the fridge, sink, and the small amount of counter-top space that curves just to the left of the sink. Right against the corner is a stainless steel high-tech oven that is simple enough for any person to use without the use of his or her netnavi. Six oak cabinets are also under the counter-tops. The floor is a synthetic oak wood linoleum and matches the cabinets.<br />
<br />
He heads to the front door, puts on his shoes, and opens the door. Once Alastor steps outside, he looks up at the sky. It's a clear, blue sky except for a few clouds from what he could see since the buildings blocked most of my view. This is DenTech City, where sounds netbattles and technology echo throughout. Alastor heads right. The store is located five blocks to the east of his apartment and just past the center of town, DenTech Square. The street is crowded on the way to the store and even more than usual. After walking to DenTech Square, Alastor sees a couple of people on a podium with someone at the microphone. All of the people on the podium are dressed in white robes with blue around the ends of the sleeves. The person at the microphone begins to speak. Even with the hood over his face, his voice clearly is a man's voice. Alastor decides to stand there and listen.<br />
<br />
"Good morning, my fellow citizens of Dentech City. My name is Micheal and every single person in the crowd has a problem." Micheal said with a confident voice. "Every person abuses the power of these programs called 'Netnavis' to do everyday chores. 'What is the problem with this?' you might think. Let me explain: As we abuse our programs and technology, we use less of our minds after each use, thus, decreasing our intelligence level! We, Salvation, are here to change this. Do you're mind want to be corrupted by something human-made?" The crowd starts jumping around. Alastor grunts once at all this nonsense this guy is saying. Micheal puts up his hands to calm the crowd and it works almost instantly. He continues, "Join us and we will show you the path of Salvation!" The crowd applauds and moves frantically towards the podium.<br />
<br />
Alastor snickers. "Another group of supposed intellectuals wanting to oppress there ideas to the weak." As Alastor continues his walk to the store, he hears someone yelling from the crowd to the robed people. Alastor couldn't get a good look from him, but from his jumping and swinging his arms in the air, he had dirty blonde hair and a jacket on. Micheal again puts his hands in the air and silences the crowd yet again. <br />
<br />
"I see someone has conflict. Come let me see your face up close," Micheal says while gazing in Alastor's direction if only for a moment before focusing on the dirty, blonde haired man. The crowd clears a path so the man can walk up to the podium a little easier.<br />
<br />

			<description><![CDATA[I just have a few questions about some things in the demo:<br />
1. Are the Raven or RiffMan rematches programmed? If not, wouldn't RiffMan be in Central Area?<br />
The latter question is because if the answer is yes, it might create conflict in save files for later demos/the final game. I'm guessing that SciLab will have its own area where Raven will reside.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[I really think the music is wrong, not in terms of composition, that's actually not bad, but it's rather about how it gets really repetitive in terms of sounds.<br />
I think it sounds more like MMBN unlike the old OST, but it's still not that close, and that's because of the instruments/soundfont. The instrument lead is used like in EVERY SONG sounds really annoying after a while. Laziness? Who knows.<br />
<br />
But I really think the soundfont needs a change so bad. If you want it to be GBA style, it definitely needs more square waves, and after listening to most of the MMBN songs... They all pretty much have a square wave as a lead (A few exceptions but it's usually high pitched). Feel free to change the volume or even add some little noise to it, but that's something really important to get a MMBN feel. Especially that lead that is definitely out of place for many songs.<br />
<br />
EDIT: Maybe you can renew a bit by using FM sounds...<br />
DSH Edit: I changed the thread subject name to avoid misconceptions]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[Made this in a spur of creativity. I haven't looked at any other submissions before making this but it looks like other people had similar ideas so eh.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Name:</span> Hatter/MadHattr/TopHattr<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Appearance:</span><br />
<img src="http://i.imgur.com/YzasX5Y.png" border="0" alt="[Image: YzasX5Y.png]" /><br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Element:</span> Null<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">HP:</span> Medium-high<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Movement:</span> Semi-frequently warps around on the viruses' field. Tends to stick around the back two rows. After a set number of warps, performs an action.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Actions:</span><br />
<div><div class="spoiler_header">Spoiler <a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="javascript:if(parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display=='block'){parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='none';this.innerHTML='(Click to View)';}else {parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='block';this.innerHTML='(Click to Hide)';}">(Click to View)</a></div><div class="spoiler_body" style="display: none;"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/0Ck9vQZ.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 0Ck9vQZ.png]" /></div></div>Hatter warps to a target panel, preferably on the left 2 rows of the viruses' field. Hatter puts its hands into its hat and swells up, then pulls out a crystal reflector (note: crudely drawn). It places this crystal on the panel in front of it (preferably in the middle 2 rows of the field) and warps back to its original position. The crystal can be destroyed in a few hits (think TimeBomb). This action cannot be COUNTERed.<br />
<br />
Alternative: the crystal rolls/glides/whatever to a favorable position.<br />

It moves its hands upwards and holds on to (the rims of) its hat. Its pupil starts glowing and simple charge particles are shown. While charging, Hatter moves slowly downwards to indicate how much time is left before charging is complete. Once the charge is complete, Hatter briefly blinks and a continuous laser beam is fired from the eyeball, dealing damage. This attack can be COUNTERed when Hatter is blinking. After a short while, the laser beam dissipates.<br />
<br />
<div><div class="spoiler_header">Spoiler <a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="javascript:if(parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display=='block'){parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='none';this.innerHTML='(Click to View)';}else {parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='block';this.innerHTML='(Click to Hide)';}">(Click to View)</a></div><div class="spoiler_body" style="display: none;"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/3mnCGuv.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 3mnCGuv.png]" /></div></div>When a laser beam hits a crystal, the beam is refracted into 3 directions. Alternatively: when two crystals exist on the field, a laser beam may jump from one crystal to another if MegaMan can be hit that way. If Battle Mystery Data exists on the field, it functions the same way as a reflector crystal placed by Hatter, and the Mystery Data is not destroyed. An IceCube may also have the same effect.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Drops:</span><br />
Here are some ideas.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">LiteRay1/LiteRay2/LiteRay3</span><br />
- All fire a single continuous beam or a short burst down the row, with increasing damage.<br />
- Alternative: LiteRay1 fires down the row. LiteRay2 fires diagonally up and diagonally down. LiteRay3 fires in all three directions.<br />
- When an enemy is blocking, this chip deals no damage and optionally the beam is <span style="font-style: italic;">reflected</span> straight to the left (this can be conveyed better with a short burst instead of a continuous beam).<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Prism1/Prism2/Prism3</span><br />
Like the good old Prism but with varying damage. Downside: it's a pain to balance.<br />
<br />
V2 and V3 versions could have different colors, or you could use different hats (like a chef hat or a disco wig). Or you could do something like this:<br />
<div><div class="spoiler_header">Spoiler <a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="javascript:if(parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display=='block'){parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='none';this.innerHTML='(Click to View)';}else {parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='block';this.innerHTML='(Click to Hide)';}">(Click to View)</a></div><div class="spoiler_body" style="display: none;"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/Zo3ooGv.png" border="0" alt="[Image: Zo3ooGv.png]" /></div></div>
Feel free to make any sort of changes if you're going to use it.]]></description>

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Name:</span> Hatter/MadHattr/TopHattr<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Appearance:</span><br />

<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Element:</span> Null<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">HP:</span> Medium-high<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Movement:</span> Semi-frequently warps around on the viruses' field. Tends to stick around the back two rows. After a set number of warps, performs an action.<br />
<br />
<br />
Alternative: the crystal rolls/glides/whatever to a favorable position.<br />
<br />
<div><div class="spoiler_header">Spoiler <a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="javascript:if(parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display=='block'){parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='none';this.innerHTML='(Click to View)';}else {parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].style.display='block';this.innerHTML='(Click to Hide)';}">(Click to View)</a></div><div class="spoiler_body" style="display: none;"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/5oIxEX4.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 5oIxEX4.png]" /></div></div>If not already, Hatter warps to align himself with MegaMan. <description><![CDATA[Hello. I am a big battle network fan I was informed about this game by a friend of mine. I really love what you guys are doing here and I encourage you to keep it up! I'm also a musician and would like to get involved, but I don't think you guys need one but I'm still happy to be here regardless.<br />
(Not sure to advertise my music here so I'll save it for the music section)]]></description>
